Concrete Progress

Our construction crew has been working on the walls of our future wing. Please enjoy a few pictures of the concrete progress we've made over the past two weeks!

Our construction crew built forms for the walls and added rebar for reinforcement.  When that was all done, they poured in the concrete.

While we're on the topic of building, do you know how a penguin builds its house?  Igloos it together.

Here's a snapshot of one of the concrete mixing stations.  Once the concrete arrived, the construction crew's job just kept getting harder and harder.

After the concrete set, the external framing was removed. Check out these walls!
